WHO WE ARE

CNG is an association of like minded people in the Chicagoland area who are passionate about theater.

CNG is not a community organization. Rather, it is an amateur theater club where the collective interest of theater loving individuals is paramount.

Registered as a not-for-profit organization.
OUR PURPOSE

Promote the love of theater.

Enable theater enthusiasts to practice, improve and perform anything and everything related to staging a play.

Organize workshops / learning sessions to enhance skills.

Create at least one quality production per year.

Perform each production in multiple cities.
-
Host an annual theater festival with other similar theater groups from across North America.

Membership fee is $50 per family per year. Membership for year 2024 is now OPEN.
CNG Members enjoy several benefits.

By-one-get-one-free tickets on any CNG event. Maximum up to 3 tickets free tickets.

Free workshops - 7 or 8 per year.

First preference in being considered for roles in CNG productions. Roles are not limited to just acting, but may be in the areas of direction, stage management, sets, lighting, audio, project management, etc.

Potential leadership responsibility in different operational and creative areas within CNG.

For couples, one membership includes the entire family.
